Hatch Announces Hearing for SSA and PBGC Nominees

WASHINGTON – Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) will convene a hearing to consider Gail Ennis to be Social Security Administration (SSA) Inspector General and Gordon Hartogensis to be Director of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). The hearing will take place on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. in 215 Dirksen Senate Office Building.

The following nominees are scheduled to testify:

• Gail Ennis to be Inspector General, Social Security Administration

• Gordon Hartogensis to be Director of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation
