Grassley, Baucus Seek Comments on Expiring Tax Provisions Report

WASHINGTON – Sen. Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Committee on Finance, and Sen. Max Baucus, ranking member, today announced they are seeking comment on a report on expiring tax provisions. The report from the Joint Committee on Taxation, released today, is called “Description and Analysis of Certain Federal Tax Provisions Expiring in 2005 and 2006,” JCX-12-05, available at www.house.gov/jct/x-12-05.pdf

The report was prepared for a Finance Committee hearing on Wednesday, March 16, 2005,at 10 a.m., in 628 Dirksen Senate Office Building, on certain expiring tax provisions.Comments should be sent by the close of business on Friday, April 15, to:
