Wyden and Neal Statement on Nomination of Amy Karpel to Serve on International Trade Commission
WASHINGTON – Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., and House Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Rep. Richard Neal, D-Mass., issued the following statement on President Trump’s transmission to the Senate of his nomination of Amy Karpel to serve on the International Trade Commission.
“Amy Karpel has spent nearly two decades fighting for trade policies that help American businesses and workers, with more than a decade of that time spent in public service. If confirmed, her deep knowledge of U.S. trade policy would be an important asset to the International Trade Commission,” Wyden and Neal said.
