President’s Drive to “Spread the Wealth Around” Amounts to $11.86 a Family
President Obama is trying to “…spread the wealth around...” with the Buffett Tax - legislation that won’t generate a single job for the just under 13 million unemployed workers in March, lower the price of gas, tackle America’s debt crisis or generate economic growth.
So how much would middle-class families benefit from this tax hike if it were redistributed?
A whopping $11.86 per family, per year.* This is good for about 3 gallons of gas for an average family.
