Sen. Chuck Grassley, incoming chairman of the Committee on Finance, made the following comment on an economic growth proposal from Sen. Max Baucus, outgoing chairman.

“I appreciate Senator Baucus’ proposal for economic growth. We have a common interest in helping the economy, and we have a good track record on bipartisan legislation. I look forward to working with Senator Baucus on a job-creating plan that will have bipartisan support from the committee and the full Senate, that will work quickly to boost the economy and create jobs, and that will get the most bang for the taxpayers’ buck.”
