Crapo Announces Finance Committee Staff Updates
Washington, D.C.--Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) today announced the following staff updates to the Committee’s economic team:
Lincoln Foran, Senior Economic Policy Advisor
Lincoln has been promoted to Senior Economic Policy Advisor, having previously served as a policy advisor for Senator Crapo on both the Senate Finance and Senate Banking Committees. Before government service, Lincoln worked at the Cypress Group on a number of financial policy issues, and in investment banking at J.P. Morgan. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia, and a Master of Public Policy degree from the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy.
John Kashuba, Counsel
John joins the Committee from the Maryland Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Labor, where he provided legal advice and policy analysis on a range of federal- and state-administered programs. Before the U.S. Department of Labor, he worked for the Republican National Committee’s research arm, and served as a law clerk for the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs, Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. John earned his J.D. from the George Washington University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
Becky Cole will continue to serve as Chief Economist for the Committee.
