Wyden Statement on Treasury Guidance on Advanced Manufacturing Production Credit

Washington, D.C. – Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden, D-Ore., today released the following statement on new guidance from the U.S. Department of Treasury on the advanced manufacturing production credit for solar, wind, battery and critical mineral supply chains:

“I wrote the Inflation Reduction Act to make an historic investment in clean energy manufacturing here at home. Today’s announcement provides the certainty businesses need to fully unleash and revolutionize job creating investments in American manufacturing for solar, wind, batteries, and critical minerals – which will add up to reduced emissions and a stronger U.S. economy.”
