Wyden Announces Hearing on Tax Provisions for Supporting Children and Families
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden, D-Ore., will convene a committee hearing on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 titled “Anti-Poverty and Family Support Provisions in the Tax Code.” The hearing will take place at 10:00 a.m. in Room 215 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
The witnesses at Wednesday’s hearing will be:
- Amy K. Matsui, Senior Counsel and Director of Income Security, National Women’s Law Center
- Melissa Lester, resident of Galloway, Ohio
- Bruce Meyer, Ph.D., McCormick Foundation Professor, Harris School of Public Policy, University of Chicago
- Grant Collins, President, Fedcap Inc.
