Wyden Announces Finance Committee Hearing to Consider Nominations for Internal Revenue Service Chief Counsel, Public Trustees of the Social Security and Medicare Trust Funds

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden, D-Ore., will convene a committee hearing on Thursday, September 28, 2023 to consider Internal Revenue Service and public trustee nominations. The hearing will take place at 10:00 a.m. in Room 215 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.

The following nominees are scheduled to testify:

  1. Marjorie Rollinson to be Chief Counsel for the Internal Revenue Service
  2. Patricia Neuman to be a Member of the Supplementary Medical Insurance Trust Fund Board of Trustees, the Federal Hospital Insurance Trust Fund Board of Trustees, and the Federal Old-Age and Survivors Insurance Trust Fund and the Federal Disability Insurance Board of Trustees
  3. Demetrios L. Kouzoukas to be a Member of the Supplementary Medical Insurance Trust Fund Board of Trustees, the Federal Hospital Insurance Trust Fund Board of Trustees, and the Federal Old-Age and Survivors Insurance Trust Fund and the Federal Disability Insurance Board of Trustees
