Wyden Announces Finance Committee Hearing on House Republican IRS Funding Cuts Impacting Federal Law Enforcement
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden, D-Ore., will convene a committee hearing on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 titled “House Republican Supplemental IRS Funding Cuts: Analyzing the Impact on Federal Law Enforcement and the Federal Deficit.” The hearing will take place at 10:00 a.m. in Room 215 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
The witnesses at Tuesday’s hearing will be:
- Natasha Sarin, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Law, Yale Law School
- John D. Fort, Director of Investigations, Kostelanetz LLP
- Pete Sepp, President, National Taxpayers Union
- Chris Edwards, Kilts Family Chair in Fiscal Studies, Cato Institute
