Roth Statement on Tax Simplification
WASHINGTON -- Senate Finance Committee Chairman William V. Roth, Jr. (R-DE) today released the following statement on the tax simplification recommendations of the American Bar Association Section of Taxation, the AICPA Tax Division, and the Tax Executives Institute:
"As Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, simplification of the tax code is one of my foremost goals. I am grateful that the American Bar Association Section of Taxation, the AICPA Tax Division, and the Tax Executives Institute have put so much time and effort into these tax simplification recommendations. I look forward to reviewing them, and other simplification measures that taxpayers have forwarded to the Senate Finance Committee."
