Roth Presents Tax Extender Proposal to Committee


WASHINGTON -- Senate Finance Committee Chairman William V. Roth, Jr. (R-DE) today presented a proposal to extend expiring tax provisions for Committee members' consideration.

The package includes permanent Research and Experimentation tax credit extension, Alternative Minimum Tax ("AMT") relief, tax-free treatment of employer-provided educational, work opportunity tax credit, welfare-to-work tax credit and extension of tax credit for electricity produced from wind and closed-loop biomass, and other expiring provisions.
