Media Advisory: Finance Committee to Hold Hearing on the President's 2022 Trade Policy Agenda
WASHINGTON – Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden, D-Ore., will convene a hearing on Thursday, March 31, on the President’s 2022 Trade Policy Agenda. The hearing will take place at 10:00 a.m. in Room 215 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.

Recently, Wyden has called on Congress to swiftly enact bipartisan legislation to repeal Permanent Normal Trade Relations with Russia. At a hearing analyzing strategic trade engagement in the Indo-Pacific region, Wyden called on the federal government to fight for an open internet that creates a venue for free speech and commerce; stronger labor protections in future trade agreements; and increased transparency in trade negotiations.
