International Tax Working Group

Earlier this fall the Senate Finance Committee’s International Tax Working Group began meeting to develop a set of proposals aimed at addressing competitiveness and simplification in the international tax arena. The International Tax Working Group is moving forward in three phases: analysis of the current international tax regime, consideration of alternatives for reform, and the development of a bipartisan proposal.

At this point, the Committee would like to invite proposals from outside parties who wish to submit their suggestions. They may be directed to:

Lara Birkes at ITWG@finance.senate.gov

The Working Group will consider all proposals received by January 10, 2003. For more information, please find the International Tax Working Group’s mission statement attached.
