Hatch to Hold Finance Hearing on HealthCare.gov
WASHINGTON – Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) will convene a hearing on Thursday, July 16, to examine the health law’s website. The hearing, titled “Reviewing HealthCare.gov Controls,” will take place at 10:00 a.m. in Room 215 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
“Failures of the federal exchange have been well documented, and policy holders and taxpayers deserve to know the system is working as intended and secure against abuses,” Hatch said. “This hearing will allow committee members to examine existing problems and explore options for how they can be corrected.”
The witnesses for Thursday’s hearing will be Mr. Seto J. Bagdoyan, Director, Audit Services, Forensic and Investigative Services, United States Government Accountability Office, Washington, DC
