Hatch Announces Trade Nominations Hearing

Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) will convene a hearing on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, to consider the trade nominations of Dennis Shea and C. J. Mahoney. The hearing will take place at 10 a.m. in Room 215 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.

The following nominees are scheduled to testify:

• Dennis Shea to be a Deputy United States Trade Representative (Geneva Office), with the rank of Ambassador, vice Michael W. Punke

• C. J. Mahoney to be a Deputy United States Trade Representative (Investment, Services, Labor, Environment, Africa, China, and the Western Hemisphere), with the rank of Ambassador, vice Miriam E. Sapiro, resigned.
