Hatch Announces Hearings on Treasury, IRS Budget Requests and Tax Reform Implementation
WASHINGTON – Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) will convene a hearing on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 10:30 a.m. to examine the administration’s Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 budget request for the Treasury Department and to discuss the implementation of the largest tax overhaul in more than three decades.
At 2:30 p.m., Hatch will convene a second hearing to review the president’s budget request for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), which will also focus on the agency’s tax reform rollout.
