Hatch Announces Hearing for IRS Nominee Rettig

The Finance Committee hearing to consider Rettig will now take place on Thursday, June 28, at 9:30 a.m. During the hearing, the committee will also markup the following nominations:
- Jeffrey Kessler to be an Assistant Secretary of Commerce
- Lynn A. Johnson to be Assistant Secretary for Family Support, Department of Health and Human Services
- Elizabeth Ann Copeland to be a Judge of the United States Tax Court
- Patrick J. Urda to be a Judge of the United States Tax Court
WASHINGTON – Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) today announced that he will convene a hearing to consider the nomination of Charles Rettig to lead the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The hearing will take place on June 28 at 10 a.m. in 215 Dirksen Senate Office Building.
The committee will consider the following nominee:
