Hatch Announces Executive Session to Consider Treasury and HHS Nominees
WASHINGTON – Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) today announced the committee will mark up nominations for the Department of Treasury and Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in an executive session on Wednesday, June 14, in Room 215 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building at 10:00 a.m.
The committee will consider the following nominations:
- Eric D. Hargan, of Illinois, to be Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services, United States Department of Health and Human Services, vice William V. Corr, resigned
- David Malpass, of New York, to be an Under Secretary of the Treasury, United States Department of the Treasury, vice D. Nathan Sheets
- Andrew K. Maloney, of Virginia, to be a Deputy Under Secretary of the Treasury, United States Department of the Treasury, vice Anne Elizabeth Wall
- Brent James McIntosh, of Michigan, to be General Counsel for the Department of the Treasury, United States Department of the Treasury, vice Christopher J. Meade, resigned
