Grassley Releases Witness List for Education Tax Hearing
Hearing: "Making Education More Affordable: The Tax Code as a Student Aide"
Date/time: Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at 10 a.m.
Location: 215 Dirksen Senate Office Building
Description: The hearing will examine various education tax proposals for which legislation has been or will be introduced. This exploratory hearing will take place in anticipation of President Bush's broad education reform package moving through Congress. It will provide the Finance Committee with the opportunity to review both elements that could be included in the Bush plan as well as additional ideas.
