Sen. Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Committee on Finance, today made the followingcomment on the signing of the U.S.-Australia free trade agreement, which was completed inFebruary following a year of negotiations.

“I’m pleased to see the Administration moving forward with free trade agreements. Aschairman of the Finance Committee, I’ve demonstrated my commitment to passing legislation thatopens new markets for U.S. products and expands U.S. trading relationships. I intend to keep doingso with new agreements in the months ahead.”
