Finance Committee to Markup Bipartisan Legislation Relieving Double-Taxation of Investments between the United States and Taiwan

WASHINGTONSenate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden, D-Ore., will convene a business meeting on Thursday, September 14, to favorably report the U.S.-Taiwan Expedited Double Tax Relief Act.  The meeting will take place at 10:00 a.m. in Room 215 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.

The legislation was jointly developed with the House Ways and Means Committee leaders, Chairman Jason Smith, R-Mo., and Ranking member Richard Neal, D-Mass.
