Finance Committee Hearing To Discuss Need For Stronger Trade Enforcement System
WASHINGTON – Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden, D-Ore., will convene a hearing on Wednesday, June 25, to discuss the value of a stronger trade enforcement system in the U.S. to address the realities of the modern global economy. The hearing, titled “Trade Enforcement: Using Trade Rules to Level the Playing Field for U.S. Companies and Workers,” will take place at 2:00 p.m. in Room 215 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
The witnesses at Wednesday’s hearing will be:
- Mr. Leo W. Gerard, International President, the United Steel, Paper and Forestry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial and Service Workers International Union (United Steelworkers), Pittsburgh, PA
- Mr. Mario Longhi, President and Chief Executive Officer, United States Steel Corporation, Pittsburgh, PA
- Mr. Kevin Brosch, Trade Consultant, BroschTrade LLC, on behalf of the National Chicken Council, Washington, DC
